Where We Started
Stricken with a passion for pets, Emily Arco created Tropical Tails, LLC in 2019 to deliver trustworthy, loving, and top-notch pet care. Since then, we have completed over 4,000 visits and helped lots of different animals! You can count on us to be reliable whether you are on vacation, or your dog is home-alone while you are at work.
About The Owner, Emily Arco
Driven with work ethic and a love for dogs, I began my journey as a business owner in 2019 with Tropical Tails. Before then, I have been very involved with the pet community as a volunteer, assistant groomer, and worker at a pet store. Â With an eagerness to learn, especially about dog behavior, I have a certificate in Dog Training Foundations as well as a Certificate in Advanced Applied Ethology. As I was born in Naples, I know the area pretty well. Â I own a border collie, fish, snails, and a bearded dragon. I believe trusting your pet sitter is very important which is why I believe in integrity, reliability, and being present. Besides animals, I love photography, reading, and hiking.
Our Services
Drop-In Visits
Drop-in visits are customizable to you and your pet’s needs. This can include walking your dogs, giving medication, feeding, playtime, changing litter box, and replenishing water. We will always send a photo and an update at the end to give you peace of mind!
Dog Walking
 Tire out your pup with our walks that range anywhere from 15-45 minutes! We specialize in walking with dogs who pull on the leash, are fearful outside, or tend to be stubborn. We will always send a photo and an update at the end to give you peace of mind!
Overnight Stay
Stress-free overnight care from 8pm-7am that is customizable to your needs! We send plenty of updates so you feel connected to your pets while away!
Take n’ Play
Is your dog looking for some fun? Our take n’ plays include an hour long play at the park or play visit with my pup!Â
Pet Taxi
We can take your dog to grooming appointments, dog classes, vet appointments, the dog park, etc.
Sitting during Holidays
A 25% surcharge is added during the holidays. The holidays include Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, and Labor Day. I ask that you book in advance.
