From Hook to Mouth!!
Our experienced Captains and Crew catch our fish in the Gulf of Mexico from our commercial fishing boats docked right here in Marco Island. We ensure the proper handling of our fish from the time they are caught until you pick up your filets or eat here at the restaurant.
Our boats have been fishing the Gulf for more than 20 years. We consistently catch the most sought-after fish available in South West Florida. While most commercial fisherman ship their catches to top chefs around the country, we keep it right here in Marco and serve it to you!
Our Story
Stanley “Lee” Tinter started Leebe Fish because he needed a place to sell all the fish he caught as a commercial fisherman!! Lee was selling his fish out of the back of his truck at the Marco bridge. One day the man came and told him he couldn’t sell his fish there any more. So Lee went to the Shoppes at Olde Marco and rented a small little shop and Leebe Fish was established!!
When Lee had fish to sell the market was open and when he was fishing it was closed. Over the years Leebe went from having coolers on the floor to adding fryers and a grill to cook the fish and gradually over time evolving into what it is today – one of the best kept secrets in Marco Island. Leebe Fish continues on today carrying out Lee’s legacy of selling fish so fresh it was swimming yesterday!
