Yesterday during lunch time, the family and I visited the recently opened South Street Bar & Grill on Founders Square in the corner of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard (some say, the busiest intersection of Naples!)

My in-laws were in town, and we were looking for a place to take them to lunch and we wanted to be a place in which we had not visited yet.  Yes, we had been to the other South Street Bar & Grill location, but not this one near our home.

So, after the 5-minute drive from our home, we got to Founders Square.  There is plenty of parking, so that will never be an issue it seems.  We walked in and sat ourselves as the sign suggested and very quickly were briefed by our waiter.

She came in and took our drink orders and told us all about the best sellers and her favorite dishes on the menu.  It appeared that her favorites lined up with what we were all thinking of ordering.

We placed our orders, and our food came out quickly.

My son as always chose the kids Cheese Pizza and devoured his and suggested that it was delicious.

My daughter went with the kids Spaghetti and Meatball and finished it all.  According to her was delicious and one of the best she has had. My wife chose the Chicken Pita, which came with marinated grilled chicken breast with LTO, black olives, feta cheese & cucumbers topped with our Greek dill dressing served in a warm pita.

As I know the name of the location is inspired on Philadelphia’s South Street, I figured I could not go wrong with the Philly Cheesesteak, in which our waiter told was one of the best sellers and one of her favorites as well. I chose just like when I was in Philly last and visited the place where ‘Philly Cheesesteak was created’ with caramelized onions and whiz cheese.

My mother-in-law picked the Philly Egg Rolls as her meal.  These are two hand-crafted rolls stuffed with shaved ribeye, sauteed onions, roasted red peppers, & American cheese. It was served with onion tanglers & a side of sriracha ketchup.  She absolutely loved and highly recommended getting that next time we visit. My father-in-law went with the Philly Quesadilla.  Shaved ribeye, sauteed onions, roasted red peppers & Colby-Jack cheese, in a grilled flour tortilla with a side of siracha ketchup.

My kids walked around checking out the place which features a large stage for live music, guitars, and awesome paintings all over the walls.

Food was delicious, service was amazing, experience was great, and we truly enjoyed our visit.
