Yesterday I visited my barber Louie from  Louie’s Haircut & Shave Shop and in conversation, he asked me if I had ever tried Malinche Mexican Cuisine in Bonita Springs.  I suggested I had not, and Louie recommended I give it a try.  He suggested that the food was delicious, the service was good, the place looked very nice and Louie felt it would be a place I would enjoy a lot, considering I like trying new places and supporting local businesses.

Well, the kids had the day off from school and my wife did not have to work until later in the day, so we decided to head to Malinche Mexican Cuisine in Bonita Springs to try it out.  Malinche is located in the corner of the 41 and Bonita Beach Road, in the Publix Plaza.

Upon arriving, we found parking right in front and noticed that they have nice and comfortable tables outside and as it was a nice day, we decided to sit on their patio.  We walked in and we were greeted by their super friendly owner Antonio, who found the best available table for us outside.

Soon, Antonio was serving some chips and salsa and taking our drink order.

We were hungry, so we ordered everything at once, but we started with the amazing Street Corn Dip.  A mix of cheese and street corn, so delicious to go with the freshly served chips.

My wife decided to go with the Chicken fajita, which was huge and according to her, super flavorful and delicious.  She ate some and brought the rest home.  It came with all the fixings and you could tell it was all freshly made.

I went with the Torta de Milanesa which features thick cut chicken, breaded and fried, lettuce, tomato, mayo, avocado, chiles, chipotle, refried beans, queso fresco, on telera bread, served with perejil queso fries.

So so delicious, and it was very filling because I could not finish and had to bring half of it home for dinner.

I could taste the freshness of all the ingredients and the mix was just extremely delicious.

My daughter had a chicken taco which she said it was very good, and my boy as usual, chicken tenders and fries (I hope this phase goes away soon!)

We all finished with a churro each, which was so fresh and warm with Dulce de Leche (caramel) inside.

Service was very good and Antonio was very attentive.

The place inside is super nicely decorated and very welcoming and the outside sitting is just amazing for days like today.

Felipe Approved (👍) and we have found a new Mexican place we will be visiting often.
