Had the opportunity to visit Heyday Cookshop in Naples for an incredible collaboration featuring Chef Kayla Pfeiffer and Chef-in-Residence Brandon Olson, who is bringing his signature “new-school barbecue” style to Southwest Florida through August 24.
A North Carolina native, Brandon has spent 17 years shaping Charleston’s acclaimed food scene, building a reputation for his expertise in butchery, charcuterie, and smoke. His culinary journey includes working alongside Top Chef alum Shuai Wang at Jackrabbit Filly and the Bon Appétit-recognized King BBQ. Watching his passion and craftsmanship come together with Chef Kayla’s creativity made for an amazing culinary experience.
