ABOUT THE DOCK
At The Dock, we like to think of ourselves as a little piece of Naples’ history. We first opened our doors for business in 1976 and have been serving our amazing neighborhood and community ever since.
While a lot has changed over the years, our philosophy from day one has not: give people what Naples is all about – great views, great food, and great fun.
So come by boat or come by land – we look forward to feeding you, sharing some laughs, and making memories in the years to come!
OUR FOOD
For us, seafood has been a four-decade love affair. We are proud to serve only the freshest fish and shellfish from regional and international waters.
We energize those ingredients with tropical flavors and preparations that clearly reflect our area’s rich cultural history. In addition, we feature specials daily, thoughtfully created and based on seasonal ingredients.
Last, enjoy our carefully curated wine, beer and cocktails lists which pair perfectly with our menu and our casual, fun, open air dining experience.
OUR COMMUNITY
We’re honored to be a part of the Naples community and try to give back whenever we can. That’s why we started and continue to sponsor one of Naples’ greatest annual events – the Great Dock Canoe Race.
Designed as an end-of-year party for our staff in 1976, it has now become a good time for thousands of people on land, dock, or Naples Bay.
Around the restaurant, you can see some of the awards (such as the Broken Paddle) given out each year as well as posters that reflect the theme chosen for that year’s race.
OUR ART
You might also notice the somewhat unusual “fish people” paintings and sculptures throughout The Dock. We commissioned a local artist, Doug Sampson, to create this art because we think it’s like us – fun, tropical, and one of a kind. We hope you enjoy it, too.
