A native Floridian, Leslie moved to Switzerland in the late 1980’s.
Upon her return 20 years later with her husband Jürg and the two children, it was quite apparent the culinary savvy of South Florida changed dramatically. Fine European Bread and Pastry, however, was few and far between. While enjoying an exquisite lunch or dinner, top quality bread was absent even in the best hotels, restaurants and country clubs. As a result, the decision was made in April 2012 to form Landert Bread in order to provide Fine European Bread & Pastry to South Florida. Landert Bread continuously travels to Europe to meet suppliers and manufactures of bread and pastry, to bring premium bread and pastry products to South Florida.
