Our story
Alda’s Diner, co-owned by husband-and-wife Arjan and Esmeralda Vasha, brings an all-American breakfast-lunch concept to the restaurant space on the southwest end of the Mission Hills shopping center. The 2,500-square-foot unit

The Vashas previously operated Railhead Café & Catering at Village Walk of Bonita Springs and also had a restaurant in Michigan. The name Alda’s is derived from the nickname and shortened form of the diner’s matriarch, Esmeralda Vasha.
Expect scratch-made diner fare from the new venue, which serves breakfast and lunch all day from morning to mid-afternoon. For breakfast, Alda’s serves items such as omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles and crepes. For lunch, choices include hamburgers, gyros, pitas and sandwiches.
