About Us
One More Bite Organic is the fulfillment of a decade long bucket list dream.
Kristi is the baker, supported by her husband, who is the grocery shopper, dish washer, packager, and delivery guy. Kristi has worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. Kristi’s family has owned Cafe Cravings, in Minnesota, since 1995. The foundation of all our recipes comes from the family restaurant.
As a result of family dietary changes, in 2010, we started following an organic and gluten free diet. Most of the gluten free items carried at Cafe Cravings are from Kristi’s personal test kitchen.
After making a move to Fort Myers, FL, Kristi decided it was the perfect time to fulfill a dream. SW Florida is a growing market and is attracting more residents with interest in high quality organic and gluten free dessert options.
The One More Bite name was chosen because Kristi’s mom always took a bite of the foods she prepared for the family. As a mom, Kristi did the same when preparing food for her son. After all, one needs to take a bite to make sure it tastes good! Of course, any good dessert demands “one more bite!”
Why the snowman? If you give a snowman a cookie, he must take a bite, correct? We know, it is a mouse in the childhood book. As Minnesotans, it is all about the snow and cold; hence the love for our snowman logo. We may now be in Florida, but our roots will forever be Minnesota. Since many residents relocate from the Midwest to sunny Florida, hopefully you will delight in our snowman logo!
