La Bella Apulia – Review

Have you ever been to an apericena?  Do you know what an apericena is?  Are you looking for somewhere new, fun and different for date nights, ladies night, networking or gatherings?

An apericena is an informal evening meal involving appetizers and small bite type of food (similar to tapas).  The word comes from a combination of the Italian words aperitivo (appetizers) and cena (dinner).

But why am I giving you an Italian lesson?  After all, I am Brazilian and not Italian… Because there is an Apericena right in the heart of Naples, FL and many are not aware of this!  Allow me to introduce you to La Bella Apulia, Naples’ own apericena!  Located in the Shoppes of Dockside, on 6th Avenue, right next to Tin City, La Bella Apulia is an apericena and Italian market serving and selling delicious Italian appetizers and small bites.  La Bella Apulia also offers a wide selection of the best Italian wines and beer is available for those that prefer.

Named after the region in which the owner, Maria, is from (Puglia, or Apulia in English), La Bella Apulia is awesomely decorated with Italian murals and decor all over.  The market sells the best Italian products imported directly from Puglia, Italy and the small bites are absolutely delicious.

I visited last night and ordered their pizza and added salami to it.  It was absolutely amazing, fresh ingredients, lots of oregano just how I like it, and delicious salami on top.  I truly enjoyed!

This is a great location to grab a friend, or that someone special and come on a date, sipping some delicious wine, enjoying some small bites, making you feel like you are right in Italy.  If you are looking to travel to Italy without leaving SWFL, enjoying some delicious small bites and wine, La Bella Apulia is a must visit place!
